Volunteers rolled up their sleeves to brighten the streets of Ballymun by planting flowers and greenery in local planters. Small touches like these help create a more welcoming environment for everyone and show how simple actions can make a real difference in the community.

200th Ballymun Scouts Support Better Ballymun Day of Action

A big thank you to the Venture Scouts from the 200th Ballymun Scout Group who came out to support the Better Ballymun Day of Action. Their hard work cleaning and improving the local area made a real difference. It’s great to see young people taking pride in their community.

What is Better Ballymun?

Better Ballymun is about giving our young people a voice and empowering leaders of change. Giving them opportunities and ways to act. It’s true what they say, ‘Actions speak louder than words’, our young people and community members are sending out a strong message by their actions. They are taking ownership of their environment. They are adding to and creating bright and beautiful place to live in. They are showing true leadership by getting out in to the community and making a difference. They are learning about sustainable living in a hands on deep and meaningful way.
